A wealth of public resources are available to assist you with your social performance activities, whether you are a novice wondering how and where to begin or an expert in social performance seeking nuanced information in a particular area.  This website highlights those resources that have proved most helpful and relevant to the needs of Social Performance Task Force members.  Specifically, please refer to the subpages in this section for further information on the following resources:

  • "Making the Case" for Social Performance - a series of briefs, provided for various key stakeholder groups, that address why and how microfinance industry stakeholders can benefit from engaging with social performance.
  • Social Performance Management Principles for MFIs - a declaration of principles that industry leaders have agreed are fitting for all double and triple bottom line microfinance institutions to adopt.
  • Ambassador Toolkit - a presentation and related materials for anyone who would like to lead a training or speak about social performance.
  • Case Studies - a catalogue of case studies that discuss different social performance activities pursued by various organizations in the microfinance sector.
  • SP Initiatives - a list of various complementary initiatives around social performance that are either underway or under development, with links to websites that provide further information.
  • MIX Social Performance Indicators and Companion Resource Guide - a discussion of the indicators in MIX Market's Social Performance Standards Report, plus a guide that presents tools, resources, and examples of current practice, for each of the 11 categories of indicators.
  • Web Resources - a collection of links to websites that provide tools and resources in the areas of social performance management, client assessment tools, social audit tools, social reporting tools, guides and user reviews, client protection, and social rating tools.
  • Technical Assistance Providers in Social Performance - a database of names,  contact information, and self-reported experience / expertise, of individuals able to provide technical assistance in one or more areas of social performance.
